Young people can create jobs and make a difference to community problems by developing their social enterprise skills.
The New gen program supports youth led social enterprises to participate in the Crunch, a program facilitated by Social Traders that builds the capacity of both new and existing social enterprises.
Through the Crunch, participants attend workshops and receive mentoring from industry experts. New youth-led social enterprises are supported to develop business plans and become start-up ready, whilst existing social enterprises are supported to achieve their full potential as viable and sustainable organisations.
Through New Gen, 28 new and existing youth-led social enterprises will be supported to participate in the Crunch over four years, 2014 to 2017.
