If you are between the ages of 12 and 17 and are known to Child protection you can access a range of services to assist you to live with your family or independently.
Adolescent Support Program assists young people aged between 12 and 17 years to remain with their families. The program offers a range of services to support young people, who are living at home or independently, and known to Child Protection.
The program is responsive and flexible so that young people who are in crisis or at immediate risk of harm can have their needs addressed. The program will also provide ongoing support and supervision where necessary, so that young people can establish themselves in an appropriate living arrangement.
Strategies used to achieve identified outcomes include providing information to clients and families, case management, referral, community development and group work.
Young people are referred to the Adolescent Support Program through Child Protection - Contact Child Protection.
