    • About disability services

      An overview of the range of disability support the department provides for people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

    • Intake and response service

      To get started, this service will assess your disability support requirements and then assist you in getting access to these.

    • Disability Support Register

      This register is a database of people with a confirmed need for funding, which is then used to allocate disability support when funding or vacancies become available.

    • Accommodation

      There is a choice of supported accommodation services available, including group homes and community residential units for people with a disability.

    • Aids and equipment

      The Victorian Aids and Equipment Program provides people with a permanent or long-term disability with subsidised aids, equipment, home, and vehicle modifications.

      We fund a range of services and supports that can assist people with a disability to become more independent and participate in their local community.

    • Carer and family support

      We provide different types of support for families of children with a disability and also carers of adults with a disability.

      The Victorian Government is part of the National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse.

Services
